Won an auction on eBay for a new 10 MP camera so I can actually include pics from my life.
Playing around with my blog is fun! My new toy! I’ve been busy checking out all the widgets for ‘firefox’. I only wish my ‘puter’ was faster.
I’ve been spending so much time on the computer that I’ve been neglecting my knitting. Still working on the chocolate alpaca scarf for my friend, Janice.
I’m intrigued by having a blog. I know I need a better camera to upload pictures of my knitting. I only wish I’d taken pictures in the past as most of my knitting has been gifts to others.
One step at a time. I want to place my knitting bookmarks; my groups and other knitting information here.
Right now I’m working on a brown alpaca scarf for my friend Janice in New Mexico. She and her husband Bruce helped me acquire my five acre New Mexico mountain top. The scarf is a humble thank you. I want to make Bruce a hat too.
I’m also working on a raglan alpaca sweater for my son, Evan. I’ve been working on it for at least three years and now it’s close to being finished.
Another pair of socks. I always have a pair in process. I only wear knit socks now and they make wonderful presents.
I’m also working on a blood red wool and silk jacket. I’m combining the red wool with a strand of recycled sari silk yarn.
And, last of all, a black cotton short sleeved pullover. This one may get ripped out as there are inconsistencies in the yarn. Some of the skeins have thicker yarn. I didn’t notice this when I purchased it and I don’t think there’s enough of the ‘right’ yarn to finish the project.
